"Cal Green Remodeling remodeled our entire first floor and we could not have been happier with their work. We have a split level and they remodeled our kitchen, took down walls, put in beams, worked with our kitchen designer and gave us the kitchen of our dreams. They were so clean throughout the process and communicative. We never had to ask what was happening, Shai and his team kept us in the loop on everything daily. It was important to Shai that we were happy with the work as well and he made sure to check in with us throughout the project. They were done quicker than we anticipated and we can t wait to have Shai and his team back to re-do our bathroom. I have been recommending Shai and his team to all my friends and colleagues and would continue to recommend him to anyone that needs a great GC. We were so lucky to find Shai, his price was fair, he was transparent about everything, and he really did walk us through the entire process."

"I had a great experience working with Ron and Juan. We met and discussed my ideas. They demoed my old patio and slab and build a beautiful new one. There was ongoing communication throughout the process, very appreciative. I would use them again. I'd highly recommend contacting Ron and get a quote."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
